[ASP] +--------------------+ | Medium Description | +--------------------+ A freeware DOS command summary. Commands are accessed by menu either alphabetically or by function. Command line parameters are also permitted. [ASP] +------------------+ | Long Description | +------------------+ A freeware DOS command summary program. When started from DOS you have the option of accessing either an alphabetical menu of DOS commands or a menu where commands are grouped by function. A second way of accessing a command is by starting the program with a command name as a parameter. DOS Summary will find the closest match to the command you entered -- so exact spelling is not necessary. Only DOS commands are in this version; batch commands and CONFIG.SYS commands are not. Support is given up through DOS version 4.01. The author is a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP). +-----------------+ | Version History | +-----------------+ 1.0 Feb 91 Addition of a black and white startup option to aid laptop users. To cause all screens to appear as intense white on black use a /BW parameter as the FIRST parameter after the filename. E.G. C> DOSSUM /BW You may follow the /BW with a space and then an optional command name if you wish but the /BW must be the first parameter in order for the black and white option to be accessed. NOTE: Since the original images are stored with color attributes the black and white switch causes the color attributes to be changed after the screen is displayed. Depending on the speed of your system you may notice what appears to be flicker as each screen appears and then changes color to black and white. This is normal. Also changed in February: Update to the ASP Ombudsman statement. 1.0 Nov 90 First update. Correction to mailing address. Zip code and PO box were the same in parts of the original release.
